Head-on collision kills 19-year-old

The last thing that drivers in Fulton County consider when they are re out on the road is an auto accident. While most drivers are cautious and obey the rules of the road, there are still a number of people who are reckless and perform dangerous acts. When accidents occur, they can lead to significant injuries and death. Car accidents can have long-term and deadly consequences for people and their families.

A head-on collision between a Chevy Cavalier and a Ford Ranger led to the death of a 19-year-old man. According to police, the 18-year-old driver of the Ranger went over the centerline in the road and crashed into the Cavalier driven by the 19-year-old. The driver of the Cavalier was rushed to the hospital via helicopter and died that afternoon. The driver of the Ranger was hospitalized with injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening.

An auto accident can lead to minor injuries, major injuries and even fatalities. Injuries that might seem minor at the time of the accident can grow progressively worse without warning. If a person suffers an injury to the brain or spine and requires long-term care, it can be a hardship on the individual and his or her family. Medical expenses for severe injuries can accumulate very quickly and overwhelm the family. If there is a need for round-the-clock care and rehabilitation, it is almost impossible for a normal family to pay for it.

In this instance, a 19-year-old man died after a head-on collision. His family will have to live their lives without their loved one who was just beginning his adult life. When an accident like this occurs and there is evidence that it was the result of another's mistake, those left behind would be wise to consider discussing the matter with an attorney and think about legal action before accepting an offer of settlement made by an insurance company.
